Went to Herchimer for the first time Tuesday afternoon and the parking lot was empty except for one fella on a quad. Being on a quad myself, I was a bit skeptical of conditions so went to Pt. Ann, which had a handful of vehicles there. Drilled 2 holes, one was 6 inches, the other was 4, mostly black ice. Was surprised and a bit concerned being on a quad, so will stick to Big Island Wagers Farm this coming weekend. Did get into a few decent eater sized fish during a short bite window just before dusk at least, but would walk out next time. GL out there and be safe!
