I've been out a fair bit this season and for me up until a couple weeks ago it's been spotty. Usually managing a couple fish. Last weekend iced a 11.5, a couple around 7lbs and a couple eaters on a pimple style bait. Was out again today and they were chewing. Got 7 with 3 fish between 4-5 lbs and then a 7, 8 and couple 9lbers. My buddy got a 15.5 drum that actually bit the pimple.lol. It's been fun. Fishing current water in 22 ft keeping the lure up at least 5 ' off bottom while jigging and the bigger ones are coming in and smashing it. Green /silver or orange/silv

That is one fat drum. Awesome, I've only caught one out there before and was snagged. Cool to hear it actually bit.

Even though I personally haven’t been out much the two times I have we have hit them pretty good with a lot of big fish two weeks ago and more eater size with some bigger fish mixed in this past week. I don’t have my quad or hut anymore so need to pick and choose good days which are far and few between with the winds and low temps we have had. Still nice to see the quality and quantity of fish including the drum Chanel cats and perch the guys are catching.
