Went out to fish this morning with my Dad about 1000 and headed for Long Reach for the yellow marker north of Thompsons Pt., trolled south towards Thompsons' and made the turn to head north and I hit a 14" eye on a CC Shad.
Marking lots of fish in 30-35', made several passes and headed to high shore. Marked even more fish over there but couldn't solicite a strike on the multiple cranks we pulled over them.
Made a couple of passes at Shermans over an old line that I used, but the weeds have disappeard until you get into 7' of water.
Back to the dock at 1400, met another boat arriving at the same time and they had a nice 22.75" eye taken over in Mallory Bay.
Talked to another boat at Shermans and all they had were gobies.
A cold front settled in yesterday and pushed em down.
Stay Tuned - back out tomorrow.
