Fished both Saturday and Sunday mornings in and around Hay Bay, Thompson point and Mallory bay. Marked plenty of fish in deeper water but no takers. Moved into shallower water and worked the shoulders 18 – 12 fow with spinner baits and worm harnesses. Managed to boat two walleye on spinner baits and two on worm harnesses between 3 and 5 lbs. Also boated a few chunky LM bass between 2 and 3 lbs. All the fish looked to be in good shape.

We also fished the bay Saturday night for a few hours with no success. The bay was completely flat and from what I could tell the shad have started to move in. I didn’t mark any pods but did see a lot of action on the surface.
