The fishing sure was slow to say the least during our trip to quinte. The weather was exceptional but veery few fish to talk about. Just one walleye about 2 lbs. We did catch some smallmouth and sheepshead.
We marked many schools of walleye out in long reach but not many takers.
Things usually slow down somewhat this time of year but not this much.
We had thrown every conceivable bait at the fish with few rewards.
I'm sure I'll have better luck next time....larry
