That was a cool video and it would be a fun trying to catch one of those in such a tight spot. Didnt look like there was even much room to stand. Thanks

don't worry about that, most people have trouble with all the different species, it doesn't help that they change colour either, LOL!!

I just read a new issue of one of my fly fishing magazines and apparently in the states there are more kinds of bass and alot of them look like smallmouth, such as the "coosa" bass. think I'd get confused there too.

as far as catching those salmon, it's most likely that they hit out of aggression, not to eat, you can try lures with bright colours or flies such as "egg sucking leech" or "wooly buggers" as far as bait, my only experience using bait is making doughballs for carp. make sure you check your regs, think you have to be south of the cn tracks, if you think those fish look fun to catch, wait til steelhead come around, they will test your equipment good.[/quote]

yeah i think its over for chinook past the cnr tracks, i checked the regulations.

You have to be below hwy 2 up till Dec 31, Joey if you won't to learn a lot more about fishing in small streams (eastern tribs) and how to catch fish like salmon and steelhead then check out www.floatfishing.net but before you post be sure you read and understand the site rules.
