Quinte Fishing

Was out to fish this afternoon, around 1400 with Ohio Joe and Ohio Ken, tried drifting at the Old Church and we got a pair of Gobies.

Beat the waves to Mallory and made three drifts from Q6 to the point - zero......

Trolled thru Thompsons' cove with no luck. Met the MNR doing a creel survey and they had the bad news..... No one had a fish this weekend and last weekend... Not looking real good.

Back to the dock at 1800 - give it a go on Sunday AM.

I took a boat ride tonight 6-9pm got 2 little ones. It's been slow out on Sturgeon L. too. I lost my good erie dearie and can't find another the same. The pickerel here are in close and soon will move into the Scugog River south of Goose bay. I was fishing in the north east arm near Emily Creek. There was a warm gentle south wind that cooled to a nice fall evening.
I wished I was seeing the high shore's silhouette against the night sky but had a nice sunset tonight here anyway.

gonna tune in for another quinte fix tomorrow.
