I tried bass fishing for the first time this year with limited success, but greatly enjoyed what I did get(one bass and one walleye in the first 20 mins of trying, but nothing since) I've read in fishing mags that BoQ is the place to go for bass/walleye. From what I've read and seen on this board(great board by the way), it's all true. I'm going to be passing through BoQ on Friday on my way to Ottawa for thanksgiving Weekend. I was thinking of stopping along the way for a fish but have never been in the area and don't know where to start. I don't have a boat, so I'm looking for a spot I can do some shore fishing, preferable easy access or short walk from parking. I was planning on arriving at sunrise. Not knowing the area, I don't want to trespass on private property unknowingly. I've looked at the hotsspots map on this site but it isn't detail enough to plan my route(I don't want to be driving around aimlessly in the dark).

1) Can anyone recommend a spot to shore fish that I can locate on www.Mapquest.ca so I can plan my route.

2) Also, being unfamiliar with bass fishing, is morning(sunrise) a good time to fish or should I wait until midday?

3) What is a good "go to it" bait/lure for me to bring?(I'm bringing my baitcaster and my 3wt flyrod and prefer artificial bait)

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. To all conservationists, I am strictly C&R.
Thanks to all.
