Hello-New to this Board

Hey all,
I've been a lurker for a few years now and this board has provided me with much info, thanks.
My wife an I have fished out of Desoronto a few times and really enjoyed ourselves,
This Nov., 11-13 I will be comming up with some friends to try our luck out of Picton,(Tip of the Bay?). Would appreciate any info on what type of lures/bait for Walleye is best from you regulars, for Casting (and what typr of line)...and Trolling. We have planer boards.

Welcome to the board. Alot of the guys run mono in the 10-12lb test as well fireline with a florocarbon leader of a few feet. Crankbait choices are usually long body baits in a variety of diving depths. If you have done a search on the topic you will find everything you need. The most popular cranks talked about here are the Manns stretch 20's, Rapala Husky Jerks, Tail Dancers, Storm thundersticks and Jr sticks, fastracs, smithwick rouges, lhur Jensen 1/2 and 3/4. Colors include clown, firetiger, perch, black/silv, blu/silv, blueberry muffin..

specially on the line question..I have the lures you have mentioned and are sure ready to let it all go..All we all need id the weather to cooperate and the fish to bite....many, many thanks...Peter
