My wife and I came up to Quinte for the 1st time this past June for 3 days and had a great time! So good in fact we came back up the 1st week in September for a week and found the fishing that week was to say the least a little slow.We caught bass and some walleyes but NO pike at all! I am sure it is not the norm that time of year, probably the dry hot summer had alot to do with that. Now we have decided to try 1 more time this year and come up after some of the big ones the bay is famous for! We will be coming up the last week in Novemeber for 3 days and wondering where we can stay and how deep into the bay do the big ones go? We had fished Big Bay both times before but the people we rented the cabins from are not open that late.Do the fish make their way into hay bay? Been going to the far North(70 miles west of Timmins) for 20 yrs and caught LOTS of walleyes but never any thing over 6 1/2 lbs so figured this would be a good time to beat that!! Any suggestions?? THanks! Mike
