Five of us coming up this weekend and staying at Merland Park. "Newbies" are in need of some information. We are all seasoned Lake Erie walleye fishermen, but new to the area. What are the winds supposed to be this weekend and how do high winds effect the fishing (water clarity)? Will be in a Red/White Stratos 21MSX and White Lund 2025. What channel should we monitor to report/ask questions? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply - I just know that the water clarity highly effects our fishing in Lake Erie. I think that we have enough reef runners and tail dancers to catch a few big ones, and even acquired a half dozen Dr. Death's just because. We will monitor Channel 68 and hope to have some good information and stories to share.
Any local bars in the area that are good for cold beer and fish stories?[/img]
