Hi all. I've been lurking about on the board for the last couple of months absorbing all the info that you have been sharing in terms of tackle, locations, presentation etc. -- thanks for all the tips, this is a great site.

That being said, I'm heading down to Picton this weekend with my dad (Briar Patch) and my father-in-law for our first shot at fall walleye in the County and I am curious about trolling speeds and what range of speeds would be optimal.

Any advise would be gladly received and I'm looking forward to sharing the results of out trip in the near future.

Optimum speeds for us were 1.7 to 2.5 for the most part. occasionally we would hit 2.7-2.8..
