Disclaimer:

This thread does not contain a bagillion pics of beatiful walleye, like most have BoQ threads contain.....fishing was t-o-u-g-h.

We started Thursday night, fishing the nightime bite. Hit a nice fish around midnight.

Image

Friday was a tough day...we hit two decent walleye, each around 10 pounds, but are on Jackson's camera.

Here's two pics taken on Friday, one of Buster, Jackson's dog, and the second of the beautiful sunset.

Saturday morning was spent enjoying the incredible fantastic temperatures....the sun was blazing, and the sky was blue....we figured the fish wouldn't be biting, so we bbq'd breakfast.

Yes, that reads 24 degrees on November 12th. ;D

Hit one small walleye Saturday, but talked to a few boats that at least had a couple in their boats....the fish were deep....mostly deeper than 45'. Our other boat, Holy Toledo did better, with two bigger fish, both released.

Sunday morning Superdad visited us, giving us a warning about the weather for that afternoon....

Jeff and T backed out, so it was Jackson and I.

We fished hard from 10:30am till after 3, when this hit.

:o

Wet.

Overall, it was a great weekend....lots of great times. It was great speaking with Superdad.....he's full of local BoQ knowledge.....Nice seeing Ken and Jo as well....glad Jo is feeling better. :)

Here's two last pictures....one of the only fish I kept, and the last one of the baits we ran. The bottom one is a typical Rapala Taildancer....the top one is our new Magnum lure(s).

Gonna get an 18 pounder!

Thanks for reading.

Hey Steve,

glad you and Jax made it back without incident. We were just leaving Bayview when the sky turned black and started to pour. We may be back down for another fish before the end of the month. Otherwise I'll be fishing with Superdad at the Merland park weekend on the 25th & 26th. Good luck and talk to you later.

Ken

believe it or not, its a manns.

we did a big manns saltwater order, full of the Magnum series of lures.

seven of them in total.

Most are SuperStretch 18's and 30's, but that one is our special Croaker.

as for doing well during the slow time, its Holy Toledo that does it....

Jeffrey and Company really have that bay nailed down....i'm just lucky to tag along.

Hey ya' Fat Ba$tard, how's the shoulder? I told ya' to stop waxing your dolphin so much and you wouldn't have to keep having these surgeries. May see you the weekend of the 19th.

cheers
Ken
