click this link and download the letter, then forward it to your MP. Let's not lose our rights to hunt and fish.

That for the link Hoser, I am sending a copy to both his constituecy office as well as his hill office just to be sure he gets one.

It's important that we protect our rights to hunt and fish, I encourage you all to write to you MP to ensure that we don't become victims of this flawed law.

thank you.
Each and every one of us has a duty to defend our lifestyle (hunting and fishing is a part of our canadian culture) I am just as concerned for those of you who are also hunters, I am a fly fisher, I may not hunt, but I rely on your fur and feathers to create my lures also. We have a lot of members on this forum, even if you don't reply to my topic, please send the letter to your MP. I want to teach my son to fish when he is old enough and would hate to say "NO, we can't go fishing son, it is illegal".

I don't even want to think about that.

Thanks for the info and the link Hoser, just put in the mail here at work!

If I may say something - I really don't think this will fly. Just think of all the lost revenue and jobs, not to mention tourism dollars.

They got to be CRAZY to think that they'll actualy get it past.

Just my 2 cents.

Cheers,
Gman

More difficult here certainly...but they could cause problems if they get enough 'ears' at parliamentry level...lots of lobbyists out there. They have had some impact in Europe to date, including the UK. For example, the banning of livebaits in certain areas...and in Germany all fish caught MUST be kept...as to fish for 'sport' is deemed to be cruel.

So while I agree, it;s unlikely to have a real effect in the short term, theses people thrive on complacency, and they won't give up!

Never say never. Know they are are out there....and be aware.
