We marked a LOT of fish from the cement plant north up the reach.

Easy to fish around the cement plant, try the 30-34' levels.

If you're looking for another area, try the water between Q6 and Q4 and fish around Q4 and the upslopes.

Hi there,

I am new here and have never fish Bay of quinte before and plan to try it tomorrow.

Where can one launch close to the the cement plant? what is the name of the street? how's the ramp?we are coming from the Toronto area heading east.

I heard of moira from somebody once and they said it was decent.

Are there any rocks at the bay that one should be cautious off?

Are there bass in there too this time of the year?

Your best bet for launching is right in Picton Harbour comminfrom the west. Take the highway 49 bridge from the mainland and follow into Picton. You will pass the cement plant on your left. When you reach town you will go through 1 maybe 2 sets of lights. The first stop sign you come to is a 3 way stop. Turn left and just 200 yards down the hill you will see the left turn for the lauch ramp. It is one of the best ramps you will find anywhere. Excellent depth and proximatry to the prime fishing areas.....Larry
