Quinte Fishing

hey all,I was fishing at bay of quinte for about 4 years for walleye.The first time i went there it was great fishing but the last 3 years we caught no walleye. We are thinking of going there on about Oct 20 in the fall.Do you have any hot spots in the bay of quinte for the fall??any tips or what we shoud be using or colour to catch the walleyes??I have a boat and I go toTelegraph Narrows or is it just a waste of my time???????

Oct 20th is a good time to get out (anytime is a GOOD time), where are the hot spots? It doesn't appear as though the 'Fall Hunting' season has begun with large numbers of boats all fishing the deep waters from the Glenora ferry to the cement plant north of PIcton.

People appear to be fishing the weedlines and catching bass, pike and walleyes. Reports I've rec'd all indicate the fish are still in the weedlines.

So, as a starting point that might be the place to go, I don;t know the structure of the weeds up in Telegraph Narrows, but there are plenty of weedbeds in the Hay Bay / Shermans Pt / Thompsons Pt area.
