Quinte Fishing

Went out fishing in Picton Bay near Cement Plant on Dec. 5th for a few hours. Caught only one fish but it was worth the 3 hours of trolling - a 10 lber. It intercepted my lure (reef runner) at about 20 feet below fishing in about 3O feet of water with planer board. Best of all, it was released to be caught by someone else down the road. Thought I had a good size Pike on because as I was reeling her back to the boat she all of a sudden did a powerful 90 degree horizontal surge but when the golden girl came to within a couple of feet of the surface, it was love at first sight. Hopefully with all the baitfish down there she will gorge herself to 11 pounds the next time she decides to smack someone's lure. If you catch her make sure you release her so the next fisherman can catch her at 11.5lbs.....and so on....... Replica
