Quinte Fishing

I got to out icefishing today (River Rd., Huffs Point area). 6 walleye between 3 people with another party of 4 people catching 9. The largest in my little group was a tad over 9 pds. This is a fine way to begin the new year. Champs with assorted colours of tape and 2-3 mud minnows.

Great work glad to see you got fish.How much ice was there where you were at.....thanx and safe fishing.

There was 4-4.5 inches of ice. It is milder today and supposed to rain tomorrow. The weekend will hopefully see more ice with colder temps supposed to be on their way.

To those that live more than an hour away...I would hold off till more ice is generated.
