Had a couple friends join Jackson and I, so four of us headed out into the blustery winds, for a few hours of fishing this afternoon. (january 2nd)

Great way to spend a few hours this afternoon. Boat and car are now safe and sound at home, where they belong. :lol

Another great post Mr. Hamilton.

A fella with fish like that from a boat this time of year, is a Mr. :!: Just awesome :!:

PS you might want to have your bud throw out that Bill's hat   Just not in the Quinte waters, wouldn't want the fish to get sick.

Not to sound like an old man, but when I was in my late teens and early 20's, I thought I was harcore going rainbow fishing to Thorbury in November and December and fishing from shore. So now there goes my bubble! To see someone fishing the BoQ from a boat at the beginning of January (and by the way, convincing - what look to be like 4 friends to get in on the deal) and actually catching fish .... I dont like to swear, but hats fin off to you!

thanks for the kind words ramone...i think. :D

believe it or not, it wasn't hard to find three others to come out with me....

lots of my friends are overly into fishing, as i try to get everyone on the water with me once....just about every time they are asking when they can join me again.....

seeing those faces on first timers, catching their first quinte brute....nothing beats it....

most people catch walleye that are a couple pounds, a four pounder is a big one....then they see a 12 pounder surface.....nothing beats it!
