Lots of ice in big bay by big Island (8-10") Even saw a truck out there tonight 8O .Open water in the narrows. There is warm weather forcasted all week but hopfully it wont hurt the ice to much.

Tight lines

Open water around the skyway bridge just west of Deseronto. Open water in channel from bridge to telegraph narrows. Nobody fishing aroung the bridge due to ice conditions. Too much current there, and it hasn't been cold enough to freeze up solid.

There are 3 major pressure cracks on the north shore east and west of bridge about 200 foot off shore.

THis coming weeks temperatures do not sound good for making thicker ice, in fact we will be losing some. There was one hut just out from Deseronto. From what I have been hearing the ice thickness varies a great amount in the Bay from open water to 6 inches of ice.

go fish

Hey duber

I was out there.....saw the truck, he came over close to us....It sure made a cool sound on the ice 8O.

Guys all around us were knocking them good saturday night. My group managed 2 small ones, the guy beside me got a beauty. We shot across the ferry Sunday and did great in the afternoon. Got one around 14lbs and two 5-8 lbs.

Oh and you were so right, very nice people at the bait shop. Seen pics. of some of your fish there. Nice fish!!

If anyone is thinking of fishing Glenora......forget it unless you have a boat.
