How is the Walleye fishing on West lake around the end of May or first of June?

fishing is pretty good, smaller eyes there good bass, pike, gar pike in the spring time, fish off the dock in wellington at night sometimes offeres up a few good walleye in spring. i find it a tricky lake to fish but when you figure it out you can have a fun time there............ there is only a few good spots to find walleye but when you find them they are usually always there ........... start around the edges and later when the water warms up look for the deep spots usually around 16 foot or deeper .... good luck. happy fishing

I have been watching this thread...hoping to hear a little something. I'd fished on the ice off of Sheba's Isl. (spelling?) for pike years ago, and wished to here an update.

I guess keeping afloat, and pulling eyes out of the quinte waters, has been the first on the agenda. And I hear that!! :D

Last year the east side was less productive for us than usual, some figured the boat traffic drove them over to the Wellington side.

Make sure you have all your gear, lots of cops on the lake.
