Was able to take a drive to Bayview Resort to get the lay of the land and survey the fifedom.

Hay Bay was Frozen from the east end with small pockets of OPEN water near McCabe Bay, Wagonwheel Point and some very light looking spots in front of Bayview.

Full of ice around Ram Is all the way to the Reach. Coudn't see much at Shermans Ramp, but looked like lots of ice all the way to the Reach.

One Shack at Pikeral Park and one off the Old Church Ramp, other than those nothing else out on the ice, not even a fisher.

'Superdad' is wintering well in its winter location.

Headed up Long Reach, no cars at Huffs' Road with open water off the foot of the road, open stretches all long the Reach with Green Point being completely open. The ice from there to Forresters Is looks like slush from the water movement.

Open water from the Bridge down to and past Forrester IS into Mohawk Bay.

I wouldn't trust any of the area at all. Perhaps if you're on the ice it might look differnent BUT Be Careful.

Lots of the Napanee River has open strecthes and some that froze last night. The water is open from Springside park down past the old Napanee Marine.

It was cold today but as Steve-Hamilton mentioned not looking good for the rest of the week (if you're looking for cold temps).

There is hardly any snow - we drove the Explorer to the front door of the trailer and I walked around with hardly any snow on the ground, that which fell yesterday.

Looks like we might get out in Feb. not taking any chances and besides there's the Boat show in Toronto and a Grandson. Priorities you know....

As I said BE CAREFUL.
