Been cold and its helped . ice is up to 6 inches in places. stay away from narrows, and current places............ best hit the big bays and look for other fishermen out on the ice, they would be locals who know where to fish............ some fool had a car out on the ice this past saturday.... maybe he was on a death wish cause ice at its best was 4 inches. with all the rain and warm weather its not what id even call good ice ....... still in a small car he went out, and back in...... thats crazy.......... fish are hitting soft in the mornings with a fair evening bite .... dont bunch up and tred lightly where you see cracks but common sence goes a long ways and the ice is fishable
