the areas that are getting good reports for ice and fish are big island and herkamur(spelled like it sounds). places to avoid and stay away from because of no ice or super thin are Point anne , massasauga point and the Trent river as well as the bay infront of the Trent. anyone that is not aware that the City of belleville has a ice breaker contracted to keep the moria river mouth open to prevent spring flooding. This boat is working almost every day and is keeping it open from the mouth out and to the east in the bay. so dont be out wondering around in front of Myers pier area.
