Quinte Fishing

The Quinte Sports Review newspaper and myself are putting on a one day fun derby on Feb. 19th. Its just a last ditch for a fun day before the end of the season. the tickets are selling for &8.00 each which includes a meal. It's a single fish weigh in ,and the top three win cash. then we are going to have a prize table for fouth and down till the prizes run out. WE are also having a hidden weight prize. The location is anywhere on the Bay of Quinte you wish to fish. the time to start is no later than 7:00 am and the weigh in is NO LATER than 3:30 pm. The weigh in will be at Skevy's and tickets are also available here. The meal and awards will be held at the army navy building in Belleville. bar will be open. With the numbers of big fish being caught this year so far we should have some interesting weights. Remember all the ministry laws do apply. The only slot limit on the bay for walleye is you can only keep one over (24 & 3/4 )inches. For those of you that are not awhare the bottom slot limit was removed at the beginning of the season last year(2005). Come one and come all and lets have a fun and safe day.
