thanks for the board! nice to know some info re: fishing the bay. i moved to fort erie, caught lots of nice smallies, my nephew got a 7.5 lb small mouth. bro-in-law has pics to prove. let it go. moved back this month to belleville, fished the pier, no boat :cry: love fishing, so relaxing, this is such a nice area. did catch a 10.5lb walleye in nov. by shermans point on friends boat. love to hear where the ice is safe. caught lots of fish this summer, cant wait to cast again. coming from a girl, weird eh?? LOL.

WHo says Girls Cant fish ? *LOL* . they just dont like to clean them ! . just kidding, good job, my wife fishes also and im thinking there is plenty of girls who fish *S* welcome back to belleville. myers peer is a good time in the spring for perch. maybe see you there casting a line sometime *WINK* . happy fishing :lol:

but never said girls cant catch fish LOL, just a little unusual to like fishing. my so called stupid technique has brought lots of nice fish to my friends boat. can someone let me know of non-boaters in derbies or tournaments. thanks

Welcome to the board. I dont know alot of women locally who fish but there are a few. The ones I know that fish the local tournaments team with their husbands. It would be nice to see 2 women pair up and kick some butt.

sounds good to me dan, let me know please if you hear of any other women. fishing in general to me is is a good day, fish or not. although its always nice to take a pic with a nice one. i caught alot of bass this summer using sinko's waky style, i make up my own terms sometimes for my lures. so stay with me on this, LOL thanks.
