Hey Guys,I`m comin` to Quinte nov 1,just wondering where sherman`s point is located?

Shermans Point is located on Hayward Long Reach, approx 5 miles south of Desronto on the east side of the Reach. There's a lighthouse on the shore and a Red Buoy at the end of the shoal off the end of Shermans Pt.

It's also reachable by using the launch site off the Hay Bay North road, watch for 'Launch Site" signs.

If you go the 'Hot Spot' Map on the homepage and click on a closer look at the east section. You'll see a point right across from the 'Hgy 49' sign on the map - That's Shermans Pt...............

Thanks Superdad,next weekend we will try there as well as the narrows.We are staying at sunset cabins for 2 nights and hope to get into some fish.Thanks again

You'll have a long run to Shermans from Sunset Cottage, I believe they're up Big Bay way.

Look for a Springbok with 'Mercury' decals on the side - that's me Say HI for sure.
