Mr. Champs , Swedish Pimples , Little Cleos are the most used lures on the BoQ for hardwater .My favorite colour is green but many say red as well . Most tip them with a minnow or two . Hope this helps.

Tight lines Duber

My experience, fishing for big 'eyes on hard water, from BoQ to Simcoe to Lake Erie, it is without question, the sidewinder!
Hands down, catches more and bigger walleys than any other spoon we use.

Is that the Kastmaster Sidewinder spoon you are talking about. What colour do you like .Maybe i will pick one up.I'll have a hard time taking the Champ off to try it but would like to give it a try.

It is actually manufactured by ACME. They are in the new Cabela's spring fishing master catalog. The only way we have been able to get them before was to order directly from ACME.

The Kastmaster is made by Acme. The Mr. Champ is made by Luhr Jensen. Both look and fish the same.
