Quinte Fishing

Hey there guys,

I'm not a huge ice fisherman, mainly because I never catch anything but am wanting to change that in the next couple of weeks. I have heard conflicting reports of ice around there so I guess that my main question. It's cold up here right now, Ottawa, so I hope its the same down there. I would like to come jigging for some eyes either this weekend or next but have no idea of where I should go, what to use, and how dep to go. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I spend a weekend at Merlends, had a blast and would love to catch a few more monsters before the ice is out!
