Quinte Fishing

Anyone know what the water temps are in the Bay?

Also has anyone heard if the perch and crappie are comming in shallow?

I've been doing good on Simcoe for them....well the perch that is.. a few crappie thrown in:?

Heading up this weekend.

Any info would be great

I heard the crappie are biting up the trent by the glen miller area. Havent heard of anyone targeting them in the bay.

my wife seems to have a knack for catching crappie. we've done good in glen ross at the dam. but that's usually around june when the water isn't so fast.

Thanks for the info. I have also heard the crappie are biting up the trent. We use to fish for them a lot on the Otonabee near the University.

I know there is a population in the bay, talked to the MNR a few times.

I don't mind getting into some bluegils or pumpkinseeds either. Not into keeping anything.
