I was down to the foot bridge in Belleville last week. It was at lunch time and it was a beauty of a day, no wind and the sun was out. The fish were in the river pretty thick but mostly smaller fish. Tons of jacks. Watched an old girl that was probably 12lbs plus hang in the current and just sit there. No jacks chasing her. There seemed to be lots of fish. There were a couple of teenagers fishing with rods from the bridge and an MNR guy (who was not in uniform) was chatting with the kids. I ran out of time so I didnt see if the kids were charged or they were Mohawks.
