Hello,
I have a question for the Quinte Fishing Series executive(s) about the size of walleye for the May 28 2006 Walleye tournament as posted on this site. I tried the email address but it bounced.

10. POSSESSION LIMITS: a) Walleye tournament - Due to MNR slot size regulations these conditions must be followed. Teams will be allowed to weigh in two(2) fish over 63cm and two(2) fish under 48cm., but over 14"(35.5cm). Teams can weigh-in combinations of the 2 sizes, but no more than two (2) walleyes over 63cm. length. Any fish weighed that does not fit the above criteria will be grounds for disqualification.

The slot size was lifted last year at the beginning of may, is the above rule still stand for the 2006 tournament, as the MNR rules state you are allowed a single fish each over 63cm with no slot size under 63cm. Therefore I figure the ruling for the tournamnet shuold be 2 fish over 63cm and 2 fish under 63cm but greater than 35.5cm or 4 fish between 35.5cm and 63cm.

Thanks for any help with this issue.

Sheldon,
I just talked with Pete and the rule as it exists now is a typo mistake. The rule will will be updated to reflect the change. Infact last years "T" was the 2 over 2 under rule. Here's the new rule wording.
