How deep are you bringing them up from?

That question arises in the fall when people are fishing 40-50-60 feet down.

You shouldn't have a problem from 20-25 feet. Watch the water column and you'll be surprised at what depth the fish are at.

There was a HUGE discussion about 'fizzing' fish on the expired walleyelist last winter and nothing was really resolved about the proper method of fizzzing wish - are you experienced with a hypo dermic needle to get to their bladder?

Shouldn't be a problem in Quinte - if you're downrigging in Lake O, and get one from 100' down, then you have a problem.

but ,look at it this way,you loose a pound for every dead fish,so if you had 5 ,seven pounders, that would make 35 pounds, and take off 7 pounds for five dead fish, that leaves 28 pounds, for five fish,I'll take that....

Hold on you guys, before you start, slandering the tourney guys,I was just making a funny, the last thing I would want to do,is kill a bunch of big fish, especially,if it has a chance ,for big fish of the tourney,I was just inquiring, about how to save the fishes life,if by chance, that you were fishing ,in deep water,I have all the answer's that I need,on this subject, let's go back to the motor problem question again, was out this morning, and the darn thing ,just up and quit, was doing about 45mph.,and just quit,no sputtering,or anything, came to a stop, turned the key off ,waited about 30 sec.s,and stared right back up,as if nothing, happened??????It's got me stumped????? 8O

I am an Outboard technician. For oh almost 18 years. What brand, size and it just stopped? Carburated, EFI or DFI. I might be able to help. Usually an outboard dies for a reason, overheat, lack of fuel to a cylinder or over revving are the leading causes for a power head to crap out.
