Hey there.

Can anyone give us any advice on where to go around Pickeral Bay Lodge when we get there in July?

Also, I'm trying to read all the post and figure out what are the best lures and what are the best styles of fishing (trolling, minnow off bottom, etc) for wally's.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Jago,
I am not familiar with pickerel bay lodge, I think you mean Pickerel park in Hay Bay.
The fishing will still be good in July. Many people troll for walleye using spinners or worm harnesses. Others use jigs and minnow baits.
Trolling of course covers more water, this seems to be the preferred method of fishing.
Out front of pickerel park there is a large area we call the flats. Typically the depth is no more than 7-8 feet. Try the edge of weed beds in this area. Other people fish in the area of Ram island about half out towards long reach. Out from the old church on the south side past Ram island can also be hot.
There is a popular lure in the Bay of Quinte called the Uzick Spinner, message me and I can hook you up....Larry
