Quinte Fishing

Got out on the water just before noon and fished to 6pm. Nice out there. Worked up past Thompsons amd Sherman's Points then back. Downrigged all of the time first with Ripplin Red Fins then salmon spoons. Caught a 12 lbder on a blue/silver ladderback salmon spoon down 30 feet over 37 feet of water out from the cement plant. Only hit of the day. My bud from Winnipeg got a small walleye and a chinook. That is 2 salmon for him in the last week. Anyone else hitting salmon?

The waders and noodle rod crowd have been fishing the salmon run in Belleville. They come in yearly and run up the Moira river. One year I saw alot of salmon right in Picton harbour. Aslo heard of a guy catch a 6lb brown over by the cement plant.
