Out the last couple of evenings in the reach area and had good success using bottom bouncers with a floating rapala, ten feet back. You had to locate the fish then troll in a S pattern through the fish and it was one after another.Rapala was gold, black I'm sure other colour would work but didn't have time to experiment to busy taking fish off and throwing them back.
Note:Tried trolling in straight line with no success...

That's interesting using the bottom bouncers with Rapala's.

How deep were you fishing, cause Long Reach can be quite deep.

We've been having success on the suspended fish in the Reach flatlining with Taildancers.

Thanks for posting your results, everyone has input into the walleye picture.

we were fishing in 22 to 24 ft of water because that was where the fish were.We have used this method many times at all different depths.Good method when you can;t get them to bite on anything else.

yepperz. by doing the s and z turns, the inside line, with the bottom bouncer, will drop probably 7-10 feet....giving you the depth you were looking for...

however, when you were going straight, both lines were running far too high in the column.....unless you were going slower than 1.5mph, i'd say without doing the s turns, you were only running 8-14' down....as soon as you start the s and z turns, your inside line was dropping that further 7-10 feet, giving you a 15-24' range....exactly where you wanted to be.

GOOD JOB!!!!
