Went out to fish with Ohio Joe yesterday morning and going by Thompsons there were 10 boats so we headed over to Mallory Bay to have a look.
We were alone and had the place to ourselves. The wind picked up from the SW and blew pretty good. We got three walleyes on the Chartruse Uzick.
Headed back to Thompsons, only two boats left, Wonder Why????
Asked Newfie John- Where's everyone?? They've all gone as they got their limits!!!!!!!!!
We picked one in the first five minutes, later hit a double header and then a single. All on UZick Chartreuse. Other fishers are getting fish on Orange and silver spinners. It doesn't appear to matter what colour they're biting.
Decided to head back and saw there was not water coming out of the motor- Whoops......
Drifted from the Shermans Launch to Ram IS. Hit a 3 lber near the KIngscourt Weed bed.
Ohio Joe was trolling a Tail Dancer and had a HUGE strike, pulling drag - the whole nine yards- Saw the Baa-Fish and slippped the net under a 6lber Sheepy - Dang thought it was a big eye.
Back to the dock just as the thunder storm hit at 1400.
Everyone caught fish and most had their limits - the BITE is still ON.
Heading out Wednesday to see if they're still there.
