Fishing report for July 5th lauched at Belleville

Launched at Bellville and fished Big Bay & North side of Big Island. Managed to get a huge boil (on the water, not my foot) while casting my red & white Heddon Crazy Crawler surface lure north of Grape Island. No strikes. Fished from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

I went out of deseronto on tuesday afternoon. Fished for bass along the reach. CAught a few but nothing to write home about. When we pulled out the boat at the deseronto boat launch there were a couple of kids fishing off the dock. I asked them how they were doing? One of the kids said "I'll show you" He pulls a fish chain out of the water and he has seven 2-3lb walleye on it! They caught them all throwing a mepps spinner right off the dock. They were just thrilled at their luck. Nice to see

Dan...time for us to sell our boats :roll:

Also next year during the QFS walleye tourney I will stay tied to the dock :wink:
