Hello Everyone from WINTERPEG Manitoba.

It is WINTER here, the Red River is frozen and the ice fishers are out.

I was in Selkirk,MB on Sunday and met a chap ice-fishing about five miles from the Lockport Dam on about three inches of ice. He had been successful on Sat with a couple of walleyes, but there was no luck on Sunday.

All the tackle shops in Winnnipeg have ALL their ice-fishing gear out and their power augers on sale..........

They are amazed at the thought of trolling from a boat at this time, as it has been very cold and most rivers and lakes have been frozen since Mid-October.

Glad to see people are catching some fish, looks the downriggers are winning.

Hope to get out on Thurs or Fri next and will be at the get-together on Nov 30.

Tight Lines
