Canadian power and sail squadrons boating courses are starting soon so why not get your buddy and sighn up, these courses can be a lot of fun, and if you wish you can take membership.

For those that honestly know it all or at least some, take the course as a refresher, join the squadron and teach, pass some of that knowledge on to your friends. We need all the help we can get.

The CPS is made up of volunteers dedicated to safe boating and some squadrons at the local level are struggling.

THe small craft fishing crowd while the most at risk is the least represented in most squadrons, if a handfull of you guys joined a squadron you could have a lot of influence as squadrons are looking for ideas for social events (fishing tournaments, fishing trips?)and stuff. AS long as you stick to the safe boating through education theme you guys could do a lot through your local squadrons.
