Always wanted to try jigging the shoal for perch or eyes or whatever might be there. Started Sunday afternoon south of the shoal at 40', got a few hits and up comes a gobie, grrr. Moved up to 20' and got nothing, so much for that idea. Set the riggers and made a pass by the Bonnet with no takers. So we burned a lot of fuel for a gobie but it was great to be back on the water as a busy summer has kept us off the water.
