Hi there,

After a full year of planning and much discussion, the trip to the Miramichi begins this morning.

We are celebrating the 45th Anniversary of my Dad and his fishing Partner from Saint John NB getting together on the Miramichi.

We'll be fishing at Ludlow at the Pond Pool.

Understand the river is full of fish and were hopeful to land a couple and release them back to the river ( Buying a Catch & Release license).

Will have a report and pix when I get back.

Getting back mid Oct - just in time for the Big Mama's..

I have not fished these fabled waters and have only driven through the area twice. I have a friend in Napanee who's wifes family is apparently involved in I believe two of the local "camps". Perhaps someday I will get to catch an Atlantic salmon. I wish your party well.

Please say hello to your father for me.

Regards
Donald Stokes

So how was the fishing on the Miramashi? Was it over rated? Worth the money?

The pix and the comments from the Miramichi are coming the picture processing is a slow process with over 400 pix to sort thru and size up.

Stay Tuned
