Good day all, From reading the loads of info on this board and listening to where everyone is catching fish, I was wondering if anyone has caught any in through the Narrows. This used to be a hot spot in years past but now I never hear of anyone out fishing this area. Are there still fish in this location or are they just deeper.. Coming up in the next couple of weeks and want to try using live bait along with the usual trolling methods.

Any tips would be of great help..

Tiz

I talked to a 3some on Sunday afternoon at the Desoronto launch when they came off the water and they said they caught some "big ones & some little ones" using "crank baits" up in "the Narrows". No further info was voluntered and I had to ask 3 questions to get what I got.....Maybe I looked too much like a CO......

tizman,

a friend and myself fished at the narrows on this past saturday afternoon from 1:30 to 4:15 pm. we had one nice one on and did catch a 10 pounder. we had to leave so we could load the boat on the trailer before dark since we weren't staying in the area but i did talk to a friend that was fishing there when we left and he caught a real nice 12.5 pounder, a decent sized pike and we saw another boat catch a very large rainbow trout!!!!!!!!!!!! there's something you don't see very often in that area. we were trolling along with everyone else using reef runners, cc shad, and husky jerks. hope this helps
