Quinte Fishing

Hey Guys,

T'is a sad day.... sorry to say the boats been winterized and stored until I head up Trout fishing in the spring. Just too much snow too early in the Ottawa area. Thanks to some great tips from HBL and others I was able to winterize my "pride and joy" for the first time on my own...saving myself $125. Thanks guys appreciate it.

Now my conundrum....As my will to fish is still thriving feverishly, can anyone tell me how long Merland's keeps their rental boats on the water in the bay? Is it until Ice up or just until after the "Get together"?

Was seriously hoping to make it to the "Get together" to put some faces to some of these names on here regularly alas, not meant to be.

Keep the posts coming, hopefully my buddy will keep his boat at the "ready"....hint hint Frank! Hard to believe we were on the Ottawa River fishing Dec 14th last year....and YES we caught a Walleye !!!

I suggest calling him and booking a boat. Explain your conundrum and ask him if he wouldn't mind a "Tentitive Booking" pending weather and such. Also tell him Dan told you to call him. Take Care
