Hi all.
This was my third year at Quinte and finally figured it out. We got three fish but they were the fish we came to get. 12, 10.5 and 8.I know a lot of guys have done better but for me I finally broke the double digits. My partner came from Winnipeg and he is the the one that allways catches the big fish. He Breaks 10 every year. We met a bunch of great guys and really had fun.
Speed 1.8, depth 40 to 50 ft over 100, yikes. Thunder stick, Blue berry muffin and yo zuri.
We watched alot of boats pull fish and they were all doing something differant. There really wasn't something that was consistant.
East of the ferry was no better than west of the ferry. Depth for some was running ten feet and for some 60 ft. I would like to impart some advice but there really was nothing that is worth saying. Cover water.
Clark

I think it really pays to try different stuff! We caught fish at all depths from unweighted Fastracs on the planer boards to one fish off the 'rigger set at 49'. Go figure.

Nice fish! They sure look better without that stupid "frame" thing, doncha think?

I hear ya... I go 2 on Saturday. 1 @ 20' and one probably around 40'

I ran 1 rod @ 20' and one 30' and deeper trying to figure them out..... seemed to be all over the place...
