I was out sunday and landed 8 rainbows! The biggest was 33" and the smallest was 19" so it was a great day! All were dark now and all but one had a fin clipped. The ONE that didn't have its fin clipped, WOW this thing took me for a ride. It jumped 4 times and twice there was a second rainbow with it(in the air). Anyway I have heard different reports about the clipped fins and was just wondering what others know about this, and it might educate others.thanks

A clipped fin means it was a stocked fish. If it doesn`t than it was naturally produced in the wild. Where were you fishing?

Hatchery fin clipping doesn't occur with any regularity anymore and therefore is no longer how one determines if it is a wild fish or a stocker. Bassman sounds like you were streamfishing as opposed to open lake trolling?
