Quinte Fishing

Hi Folks,

I've been reading this forum the last few years and have decided to give it a go... a lots of frustration I see! I can relate to most of the issues mentioned. I'm not a huge advocate on keeping ones limit, I will - from time to time keep the odd 2-3 lbs walleye (kind of hard to catch at this time of year). I landed 11 walleye's in the last 2 days 12's, 11's, 10's, 8's and the odd 6lbs.

I've been fishing the Picton Harbor area for the last 10 years. My best result was landing a 16lbs walleye Nov 2004. I will upload the picture in my profile when I have a moment.

I hope that I can be of contribution to this board, you seem like a great bunch of people.

That is great that you subscribe to the Catch and Release principles for the larger fish! In that way we can ensure anglers share some nice pictures for years to come!! A picture will last a lot longer than a dinner from an 8lb plus walleye. Looking forward to seeing the picture of the double digit and thanks for sharing it with people on this website.
