Was out again today with 4 guys in the boat and boated 67 walleye and 1 whitefish. Morning calm and broke a lot of ice to get out but was well worth it. More details to follow tomorrow....its time to have a few beers!!!!

If it is hot as it has been i can see catching that many fish. One only has to look at the recent posts... i would be surprised if some one didnt have a good day like that.

whitefish eh?

i'd have traded 66 of those caught walleye for one more whitie.

do u get many jiggin?

is there any technique that could focus on the whities?

i'm VERY interested in getting my first Quinte whitie.

PM me if you are concerned about public info......

thanks man,

STeve

Again when we got out there in the morning I could see the walleye on the graph. Don`t use the fish ID feature. Turn that off....I had to go in manual mode and reduce the sensitivity to about 86% and I could get a good reading of what was down there.
I myself did not have the hot hand today as it was my buddy who caught 30 of them and the whitefish. I did take a photo of the ice on the boat when I got home on the 29th of Dec. Over an inch of ice on the hull!!!
Image
and here is a pic of the pike a buddy caught....his first time back to the bay in 12 yrs and impressed with the fishery as he caught 20 walleye that were eaters and a few dinks. Most were let go quick as it had a wind chill of -6.
Image
and finally a pic of the bay on the 28th when it was calm and milder out. still hard to believe the end of Dec.

I moved at one point up to 27 fow and marked lots of walleye there as well and it wasn1t far from the first spot. We ended up getting about 10 fish here and the whitey. The winds picked up and I couldn`t keep the boat over them easily.
We also saw some other boats catch fish, whether they post hre or not don`t know.
Walleyedreamer25 any time you want a lesson you can follow me out....oh but I bet your boats put away.........too bad.

nice job teppy as anyone knows the jig bite can be great when you can keep on top off them. keep it up it just sounds like there is some jealous people out there.
