Quinte Fishing

Well tried my luck this a.m. with my brothers off the end of hercimer (blvl) and we got skunked (well my brother got a nice pike).This really sucked as last week as i posted i got our limit plus 10-20 threw back.The weather really changed as it rained overnight and the temp. dropped and was windy and cold on the bay.The walleye didn't seem stacked up as much.We put out the drift sock but stil couldn't get our lines vertical to feel the strikes.We called it quits early as mother nature was not working with us,as i put my lure away i said see you when the ice moves in as i think we may be to the end of our january thaw (LOL).We all agreed we think that was the last time in the boat till the opener (well i thought).We loaded the boat on the trailer shot the crap with each other then my brother says so are we going tommorow ??My mind spun as i tried to come up with a way to smooze the wife to one last trip.She's not home now so i still have some time to come up with some kind of plea.,Well ethier way i still had a good season in the boat and looking forward to trying my new portable ice hut the wife got me for christmas,How can she deny the use of a that when she got it for me right?Anyways good luck guys till next report,K.M.B.F.

Hey KMBF, we launched out of hercimer at about 1 and fished until about 4:30 I guess. Headed over to the shoal and fished with 3 other boats in the area. Ended up catching 9 little guys, nothing even big enough to keep though. I think we'll be back atter tomorrow, hopefully to find a couple bigger ones.
