Just wondering if anybody has been out from Deseronto?? Was talking to a guy at the gas station just off of Marysville and he says that they are and are on 4 inches of ice. That was a couple of days ago so i would think after this cold snap there should be enough. Have been fishing Petes Pt. over the weekend and have managed 4 nice fish around 3 lbs. Pretty much saw everybody catch fish but nobody has been slamming them. One guy said they were out last Friday and got 9 in the morning and 14 in the evening. There is a solid 6 inches of good ice, way better than any ice we had all last year. Anyways good luck to all and stay safe!!

Jay, I was thinking the same thing; as I can`t quite decide where to go out on the ice just yet. Petes point/ big Island, pt. Anne... so many places.
I`m surprised that I haven`t seen a post from tdoug yet. I`m hoping to be there tomorrow in the a.m.

I was out on Big Bay yester day and there is a good 7 inches of ice out there. Between the 3 of us out in the am we got 7 fish on the ice. Lost a few others. Pretty much the same result in the afternoon.

Didn't see too many other people out. But that have been since it was still friday and not the weekend.
